# Seasonal Form

A wrist turns inside a sleeve. A line of bodies leans toward the same movement, then breaks apart. In the quieter frames around an event, a season begins to take a shape that a single result cannot contain.

The repetition is what makes a small difference visible. Enter the same ground under another sky and the colors have changed. A familiar gesture looks heavier in a coat, quicker in short sleeves. The place is recognizable, although very little in the frame has stayed entirely still.

Looking across a sequence allows the intervals to matter. Waiting, walking away, gathering belongings: these actions occupy more of a day than its most celebrated moment. A photograph made at the edge of the action can give that ordinary time a clear place in the record.

Some images become useful only later. A background detail repeats; a patch of color disappears; the same position is occupied by someone else. What once seemed incidental begins connecting the days. The quieter frames give the sequence somewhere to breathe between its obvious peaks.

An archive can keep those differences without arranging them into a verdict. The final image need not close the story. It may leave a figure mid-step, or hold the light just before it changes again.
